I met Robyn and Chris around 10 O'clock in the morning a few weekends ago in Marietta. The weather was absolutely perfect with just a very slight chill to the morning air. The plan was to start in the park and wander around chatting and see where the engagement photo session took us.
The Park in the Square
The park in the middle of the square was as charming as ever with flags everywhere. We shot by the fountain and with the stars and stripes as a backdrop.
Then we headed off to the side streets and alleys around Marietta Square which is a stones throw from the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta. I am always looking for interesting backgrounds like painted brick, old doorways, windows, colorful murals to create unique photos of my clients. With a bright sunny morning on hand we were on the lookout for beautiful light bouncing off walls and pavements to create stunning portraits for Robyn and Chris.
Gone with the Wind
During our session we found a great location with awesome light adjacent to The gone With the Wind Museum and we we able to capture some awesome images and later create some fantastic pieces of wall art and prints from our session.
I'm very excited for their 2019 wedding and I'm in hopes they'll choose a venue in the vicinity of Marietta Square for their wedding celebration and wedding day photography.
