Over the past ten years or so it's become very popular to have a pre-wedding photo session. I'm a British Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Kennesaw, Georgia, near Atlanta. As a Professional Photographers of America, Certified Pro, I shoot a lot of engagements and weddings. If you have recently gotten engaged or are getting married in 2019 read on!
Engagement Photo Sessions
After speaking with my clients/couple we determine a good day, time and location for their engagment photo session. The photo sessions are well in advance of the wedding often as much as 18 to 24 months before the ceremony. The photos I provide are in print and digital format for use as "Save the Date" announcements and also on the bridal website.
I love Engagement Photo Sessions becasue it's a great opportunity to get to know each other. During the engagement sessions we usually talk about their wedding day, I answer some of their concerns. We often share ideas and I freely give them tips and advice as the big day approaches.
Pre-Wedding Studio Session
Usually I shoot studio pre-wedding session about 2-3 weeks before the wedding day. Not quite as popular as the Engagement Session, yet a super way to get high quality portraits of the bride to keep forever.
Hair and makeup ready, the bride in her dress, veil and jewelry can have a relaxed, zero pressure photo session. This is such a great way for the bride to be and myself to create beautiful portraits for the bride and groom.
